Bishop Darrell Hines I've known Bidal Torrez for more than 20 years. Not only is he a great friend of mine, but he is a great friend of God. Bidal has an unquenchable passion for the manifested presence of God, like few others I know. Bidal has become sensitive to the leading and promptings of the Holy Spirit because of his deep commitment to abiding in Jesus. When you are around Bidal you will feel the powerful, tangible presence of God that will rub off of him and onto you, if you're not careful. I've witnessed powerful moves of God under Bidal's ministry where people are arrested under the power of the Holy Spirit for hours. Bidal lives in a place of intimate fellowship with the Lord that comes from a deep place of pressing to know the Lord as friend. It has been my privilege to observe much of the spiritual journey of Pastors Bidal and Sherry Torrez. God arranged a divine appointment between us while they were students at North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. I was attracted by their gentle but firm spirits, insatiable desire to know God fully and their genuine love for people. It has been a joy for me to have witnessed some of their first halting steps in ministry and then to see them grow into a dynamic ministry team that God has deposited a fresh word into for our generation - a word that goes forth with a demonstration of His power. Bidal and Sherry have matured and grown in God's favor, but they have maintained the desire to know Him more fully. Their spirits remain gentle, correction and reproof is administered according to Scripture and always in a firm, meek and loving spirit, and their love for all of God's children remains evident. Bidal and Sherry have prepared themselves well. God has positioned them, and I am excited to see what God will do through them in this great last days harvest. Pastor Steve Oates Brother Torrez's ministry has been a great blessing to our church. His solid teaching of the Word lays a foundation for the tremendous power of God to be released. There is a powerful anointing that flows through Brother Torrez. The integrity of his life underscores the ministry God has entrusted to him.
There is a radical demonstration of the Spirit's power that breaks through mere intellectual arguments. The teaching that he interjects during the moving of the Holy Spirit also helps those who are unfamiliar to receive.
